TOPIC: R4 Seas of Vodari

Hi! Good to put a face to the username! Thanks for your interest, I have added you to the player list for Seas of Vodari.

Seas of Vodari is a sandbox-style, seafaring campaign. Once you get your own ship, you will be free to chart your own course and explore the setting (just give me enough warning to prep the next island).

You will be starting at level 3 and will already have been together for some time. In addition to your race & class, consider your role aboard your ship, ie: helmsman, navigator, lookout, gunner, doctor, cook, etc.... There will not be a Captain calling the shots, as the crew should all have a voice in determining the course of the adventure.

RACE

In addition to the races/ancestries from the Players Handbook, Seas of Vodari introduces the following options;

Cursed Souls exist between life and death, between the person they were and the ghost-like being they have become.
Sirens are beautiful amphibious people with a fey background.
Minotaurs are bovine humanoids who prize strength, skill and honour above all else.
Vodas are small, shapeshifting people from among the coral reefs.
Aurin (or Sea Dwarves) are amphibious dwarves who mine boiling cracks at the bottom of the sea.

CLASS

In addition to the 12 core classes (plus Artificer), Seas of Vodari introduces the Gunslinger class, with 4 sub-classes; Arcane Gunmaster, Musketeer, Pisolero & Sniper.

Additionally, each of the core classes has one or more nautical sub-classes to fit in with a seafaring campaign, ie: Path of the Buccaneer for Barbarian.

I googled Valkur, and Okeano (from the above list of setting specific deities) looks like the closest match, but you can flick through the others before making a decision.
