So what new games have folk picked up over the last twelve months that they want to get to the table when the club re-opens?

I've picked up hard copies of Agon (players are a group of Greek heroes sailing home through monster-infested islands) and Wicked Ones (players are monsters, building their own dungeon and staving off bands of adventurers) and a digital copy of Vaesen (investigative horror steeped in Nordic folklore). All three read well and I am excited to see them in action!

Surprisingly enough, none of the above are settings for Savage Worlds! :D
(although I did back the Kickstarter for Savage Worlds Pathfinder).

Hands up if you have Candlekeep Mysteries preordered for D&D5?

Well the last time I tried to run something (Waterdeep) I started a Pandemic...

Obviously would like to pick that up or start it again at some point (ideally with same people if possible). I also picked up Star trek Adventures in a humble bundle so want to dig more into that. Other than that I'm waiting on a copy of the Altered Carbon RPG from their kickstarter (which is annoyingly extremely delayed to the point I could go buy it faster) and I've also got a kickstarted copy of 5e Ptolus due when that's released.

The cool thing about Altered Carbon is that one of stretch goals I'll get later in the year is actually a source book for BIRMINGHAM UK. So lets see if the bullring is still an annoying crowded mess 200 years in the future...

as for 5e Wizards at one point were giving away loads of their old Adventurer league modules for free so I've got some interesting ones of those to try that would be too much hassle to setup in Roll20. When the club opens up I'll probably join a oneshot group initially to try some of these things out to get back into the rhythm.

Colour me interested. What sort of system is it?

It uses a dice pool mechanic, where characters invoke their name and deeds to overcome worthy obstacles. There are 12 islands included in the book and experience is recorded by completing constellations in the night sky. Once you have completed 3 (short compaign) or 5 (long campaign) constellations, your heroes find their way home and become legends.
