TOPIC: New Members having trouble joining website

The main issue is that the CAPTCHA is broken, and we can't switch it off. I've disabled it in about three different places, but it still insists on using it. Then the new user can't get past it. Ironically, the bots have no issue, so all it does is precisely the opposite of its intended purpose. ho hum.

I'm on holiday next week, so I'll try and have another go at fixing it, but the other issue is that the whole site "automatic upgrade" fails and just rolls back to where we are. It's just too old and creaky.

I won't be using the WhatsApp group I'm in enough of those already. IMO Facebook is enough.
No need for WhatsApp at all, if a GM want to make a group for their game that's fine and up to them

Also I'm confused which FB group is the real one there appears to be 2, one is full of random ht related posts
