The Edge of Darkness

Week One

The guilty conscience of a dying man.

Assembly at the death bed.

The suspicious son covets the cursed inheritance.

Gasoline and batteries, a confused economy.

Rustic and remote, the old farm house beckons.

Brushing aside dead leaves, the pentagram revealed.

The man in the basement and the thing in the attic.

The shapeless horror emerges to feed!

The scribbled memoirs of a murdered man may offer salvation.

The Edge of Darkness

Week Two

Lying to the law; “That rabbit’s dynamite!”

The return of/argument with/departure of the prodigal son.

Stocking up the ritual, 3 for 2 on black tapers. Bargain!

A lovely stroll through the woods results in a gristly (albeit unsurprising) discovery.

Darkness descends. The friends of Bertrand Merriweather. Threats are exchanged and blood is spilled.

The ritual begins. An unhappy monstrosity expresses its displeasure via the medium of acid.

The ceremony is interrupted by zombies (of course it is). The investigators regret killing so many thugs.

The ritual succeeds! The thing from beyond is banished to whence it came.

The farmhouse burns, a pyre for the unremembered. Sheriff Peters discovers the blackened skeletons arranged in an excessively complicated – yet conveniently comprehensive - tableau. The case is closed.

Having faked their deaths, the investigators linger in self-inflicted purgatory.

Adjusted title to reflect divided content. We are now onto a D&D5 homebrew game GM'd by Adam for the last four weeks of the rotation.

Presenting character pic for OOLA, in the process of claiming another husband for her stud farm.



Curious fact: Oola cannot differentiate between goblins and gnomes and will now refer to Bucket as "the pink goblin". She is also convinced that he brings the party ill fortune.

Hi all as I'm going to be late all month as lots of activities re ATC. I should get there around 9pm. as not to slow things down when I get there Thursday as we are going up a level please can someone alter my character as follows
level 2 ranger
- two weapon fighting
and the following spells -
- ensnaring strike
- hail of thorns.

That's prob the best you're gonna get for now guys as I'm afraid I won't be able to make tomorrow as I'll be in Portsmouth.
Will this be the last week of rotation or is there another one?
