It seems like I may have been a bit harsh with regards to Luck, but a potential for abuse, as identified by Mel, does seem apparent...

I had initially said that when recovering Luck it cannot rise above its starting value. Mel quite rightly pointed out however that the the rules state that the starting value of Luck is not used again in the game and has a max value of 99. This is essentially the same as Sanity.

Mel also pointed out that he had only spent a few points of Luck in the knowledge that a successful improvement roll would likely increase his characters Luck value.

It wasn't correct for me to restrict Luck recovery so this won't apply anymore, Luck may rise up to 99. However, as much as I like the spending Luck mechanic can we keep within the spirit of the game please and use it as intended.
