In brief, you did for the bad guys and are now all 2nd level. Goblins nearly did for a couple of people, but now you have rescued one of the dwarfs companions and are about to drive the wagon on towards the village...

You will find that almost dying with 2 arrows in my back was a cunning wizard ploy that went perfectly to plan.
