General discussion so i can find out what People want to run :) If people could write a little back story to go with their character. e.g. where they are from, why are they in Ravenwatch? what do they want from life?
That would be most welcome :)

A Brief History of The Three Nations.
Many decades ago, the three great nations were ruled over by a single being, Raziel The Overlord. Not much is known about who or what he was but he was defeated by the three nations banding together to stop him.Upon claiming victory over the Overlord the Land was divided into the Three Nations you know of today. The Empire, Their warriors standing strong and proud. The Dark Zone, who's mystics bend the nature of the world to their will and Sanctuary, a haven for those who want a quiet life and unity with their friends. This brought an everlasting peace that lasted for an age.
But the peace is waning thin. The Empire forces from the north have begun to amass and the mystics of The Dark Zone sense a great and terrible power from deep within Sanctuary.

The Kingdom of Sanctuary

The Kingdom of Sanctuary lies in the middle of the three great nations. To the north resides The Empire and to the south resides The Dark Zone.
The people of sanctuary are a noble people. Who work together to achieve their goals. The land is governed by The King of Sanctuary who resides in the capital city of Elderstock. He is a fair and noble man who has ruled for many years and is loved by the people.
The many villages and town of sanctuary are close knit but always welcome travellers and wanderers to the fold.
On the northern border with The Empire lies the village of Ravenwatch. A fairly large village that acts as a trading post and way stop for travellers.

Scratch Brimstone
Tiefling Barbarian (although I will multiclass into Barbarian/Warlock if permitted)

Think Hellboy with an axe (a BIG axe). Will work on the details, but he'll be coming from the Dark Zone.

Kenshin Himura

Human, male, age 25, height 5' 6", long black hair held by a silver ring, eyes green, tattoo of a dragon on his left arm and a runic tattoo on his face under his left eye.

Kenshin is a wizard from the circle of magi within the empire. Taken in by the circle from the age of 7 Kenshin has studied and trained to become a battle mage. This unique training regime has much in common with the traditional monks mind and body training. Battle mages are expected to work just as hard training their bodies as training their mind to wield magic.

Kenshin wears robes like a monk and carries a curious staff called a Tetsubo. This weapon is made from dense black wood, iron shod on either end and lovingly engraved with strange runes that are inlaid with silver.

At a certain point in their training mages of the circle are expected to go out into the world in order to test their abilities and discover new spells to bring back to the circle. Many do not return for various reasons but the small percentage that do keep the circle going.

During his travels Kenshin has been asked to look for an ancient tome of knowledge that has been lost to time. Other than that he is free to go where he chooses.
