Hi all

Just a bit more about the game.

Firstly, there's still a space available.

Secondly, we'll be using the Heroes Never Die setting rule from the Savage World's Deluxe as it seems appropriate to Star Wars.

Thirdly, we'll be using the Savage Star Wars 6.0 conversion setting that's freely available on the internet by typing Savage Star Wars 6.0 into Google. It's the first entry. As there is an attachment option on this forum, I've tried to upload it here but the file size is too big. You'll have to download it yourself!

Forthly, as this is a homebrew setting and not an official one, it will be the GM's prerogative to amend things or make hard decisions as we go should anything not sit right, is way overpowered or if I feel it appropriate. As long as it's Star Wars-y, fun, high adventure etc, we'll be fine.

Talking of things that don't sit right, a word on characters. Let me be clear. I'm not exactly banning Gungans as a character choice in the game but I feel it only fair that you should know that Gungans are immune to the Heroes Never Die rule. I mean really immune! It's almost like they're blaster magnets or something. It's weird. I've got nothing against them personally, honest. What's that? No, I often talk through gritted teeth while violently tearing bits of paper...

I don't know if you've been asked at the club but are we allowed to be force sensitive or have any force training? I'm sure everyone is thinking the same thing.
You're on the other side of the rabbit hole. Now it's time to die.

If you have a look at the aforementioned PDF of the setting rules, it will explain how the Force bit works.

I looked at the rules and they suggest that Force sensitivity is at the GM's discretion. So it's not an edge that you can buy during character creation, instead the GM will let you know during the game if the Force awakens within your character. Is that about right?
