Well here it is anyway, in the style of original Traveller and MERP Criticals

Character Background table (roll a D6)
1 Character impersonates an out of hours electrician. Accidently touches live wires as it is dark. Dies of shock from 2000 volts
2 Character tries to reason with friend about threat of an item recently acquired. Dies from bullet trauma to the head
3 Character wrongly assumes protected by family business. Falls underneath Tank. Very messy…
4 Misplaced bravado. Assumes himself invincible whilst targeting Cult Ritual with rifle. Shantak has lunch
5 Character tries to reason with bar staff and asks too many questions. Nice baseball bat scar, skull crushed
6 Character dresses for Masquerade ball and puts on the Mask of Hayama by mistake. Gazes upon Azathoth in all his glory. Brain melts

as you know my work commitments have been significant over the last 8 months. That should change for the better in April, so I will be around more. if it looks like this is going to change, and I will be unavailable, I will let you know and someone else can benefit.

NB: I did role, and by some freak of nature, a single roll of a d6, came up with a 1....

then a 2...

then 3....

then 4...

at that point I smelled a rat, blamed Hugh and started working on character number 7...
