Rotation Number: 3
Ref Name: mikeawmids
Game System: Savage Worlds
Scenario Name: TimeZero
Character Lvls: Novice
New Characters: Yes
No. of Players: 4/5

1872: Strange lights are sighted over the Great Plains of frontier America. Entire herds of buffalo are disappearing, driving the species towards extinction at a rate greatly accelerated than is recorded in the history books!

1966: Agents of the Aryans (Nazi time travellers from an alternate dimension where the Axis won) have infiltrated the FIFA World Cup Final, intent on preventing the wingless wonders' controversial victory!

1997: Furious with the direction that George Lucas took the Star Wars franchise in the dismal prequels, a group of (somewhat pathetic) freeplayers have travelled back in time to sabotage the filming of The Phantom Menace. As awful as that movie is, this alliance of nerds cannot be permitted to interfere with the course of cinematic history.

2015: Aquatic dinosaurs and a lost German U-boat are terrorising seafarers in the English Channel. An anomaly deep beneath the surface must be found and closed before anything else comes through!

These are just a few of the missions that agents of TimeZero must deal with on a day-to-day basis. This will be a series of loosely linked adventures set throughout the span of human history. Maybe I'll use the hooks above, maybe I'll come up with something better in the meantime. Operatives of TimeZero can be anything from monosyllabic Neanderthals to Greek philosophers to synthetic humanoids from the distant future. You could even be Elvis (hindrance: celebrity)! They all have one thing in common - together, they're all that can prevent a rogue's gallery of dangerous alternates having their filthy way with the sweet, linear passage of history!

This will be a light hearted, pulpy game with only as much historical accuracy as Wikipedia can provide. The interesting thing about the setting is you are discouraged from killing, as removing someone from the timeline can cause unpredictable ripples in the present day. You might have unwittingly killed your own great, great, great, great, great grandfather! Also, you must keep the existence of TimeZero secret from the natives in whichever epoch you happen to be operating - unless you want your next assignment to be documenting Scott's doomed expedition to the south pole.

Three Andys on the same game? Uh oh, won't it tear a hole in reality or something!

There's an appeal.on the form but want to check if they have anything.they can give me as well.

mikeawmids - Thu 2 May - 18:18

I have sent a message to the Coronation Club FB profile asking what the appeal process is, just in case there is no-one on site tonight who can answer that question.

Sarge - Thu 2 May - 11:17

That was the last week of the rotation. Definitely challenge if you are sure you signed in

rhodsey - Wed 1 May - 13:36

Kaltek - Thu 11 Apr - 19:14

Just outside the car park now, there are still a few people from the wake at the moment

Garuda - Thu 11 Apr - 17:39

Should have read the posts below better. Looks like I'll be giving it a miss this week.

Garuda - Thu 11 Apr - 17:36

Did club indicate wake will go on all evening? Not a fan of gaming in the bar.

Temrane - Thu 11 Apr - 17:25
