Welcome to *Delta Green*, where normal lives collide with unimaginable horrors. Each of you has been called to serve, pulled from different corners of the government. Whether you’re an analyst from the CIA, a field agent from the FBI, a medical expert from the CDC, or a soldier in the U.S. Army or Navy, you’ve been trained to protect and to serve in ways most citizens never see. Yet, nothing could truly prepare you for what you’re about to face.
In *Delta Green*, your character isn’t a superhero, nor a grizzled warrior from a world of high fantasy—they’re someone who, until now, had a relatively “normal” life. They have homes, families, and friends. They’re connected to loved ones and bear the weight of real responsibilities. For them, the world makes sense… at least, it *did*.
As the game begins, you’re simply doing your job, tracking down threats, enforcing laws, or following protocol. But soon, your missions start to reveal things that can’t be explained by any training manual. You’ll face evidence of a twisted reality beneath the surface—a lurking, unnatural darkness that defies understanding and threatens to pull you into madness.
From government scientists in the CDC and EPA who face biological anomalies, to special agents who discover things beyond the comprehension of the CIA or FBI, to soldiers and specialists who find themselves on missions with no strategic logic, your work begins to expose something truly terrifying. What seems like standard procedure at first soon spirals into a grim encounter with horrors best left undisturbed.
But Delta Green doesn't call in heroes. It needs normal people who can be pulled from the fringes of this world without drawing attention. So you enter as you are, still connected to your life and loved ones. However, you may soon find that these very bonds are what make this job so dangerous. Can you protect those you care about from things you can’t even begin to explain?
In this game, you may have to ask yourself: how much are you willing to sacrifice to keep the horrors contained?
