Hi everyone,

Putting the feelers out for a campaign based around the wild west, using the savage world system (after being willingly coerced into buying the books at the Bug Ball this year). If anyone else wants to host a game that rotation, I'm happy to step aside.

The year is 1884, but history has taken a darker turn. The Civil War dragged on for years longer than in our world, fueled by the discovery of ghost rock, a miraculous but cursed super-fuel. Mad scientists craft infernal devices, hucksters gamble with dark spirits for magical power, and the dead don’t always stay in the ground.

The West is still wild, but it’s also weird. Monsters stalk the plains, cults lurk in the shadows, and sinister forces pull the strings behind the scenes. The Reckoners, harbingers of death and destruction, spread fear across the land, twisting reality itself. Only the bravest—or most foolish—souls stand against them.

Whether you’re a gunslinger, a hex-slinging gambler, a holy warrior, or a mad scientist, the frontier is calling. Just remember: in the Weird West, death ain’t always the end of the road.

Saddle up, partner. Things are about to get real strange.

Haha might do Monty Python closer to the end of the year (the sourcebook is rather big, and I'm still just partway through the statblocks of various swallows)
