The runners are hired to track down and recover a corporate spy, known as Wraith, who was snatched during a dead drop in the Barrens. The catch? Wraith was disguised as a hobo and protected by two spirits when he was taken by an unknown team in a van. The runners must piece together the events, identify the kidnappers, and secure Wraith before he’s lost in the shadows for good.

The team are contacted by Semyori-San a local Yakusa Fixer. One or more of you have worked for one of his underlings before and this is clearly a step up. You are to meet in the Soykaf bar the Elegant Noodle at 7pm tonight if interested. This is a 500 Y a night joint!

Characters
All characters are in the barrens or the immediate area of Hell Corner, a small part of the Redmond Barrens. Its a starting level scenario where the players are just starting their shadowrun lives, and have either rercently returned home to Hell Corner, or have lived there for some time. I've prepared some pregens but happy for you to make your own characters, as the scenario will provide various enhancements (magical, cyber, skills) based on the run please leave room for inclusion of additional cyberware, learning new spells and/or skills as part of your creation

o A former Barrens street hustler, Crow grew up in gang turf, learning how to manipulate, lie, and trick his way out of danger. He has a natural gift for illusions and deception, making him perfect for recon, distractions, and magical interference.
o His Coyote totem makes him unpredictable—sometimes he's in for the pay, sometimes he just likes messing with powerful people.

HI all
had a couple of other 'in person' sign ups last night, so game is now full!
We will do charcter creation on first night (I assume the pregens were not to anyone's liking!) it is a bit involved so it will be a good hour even it I do some of the number crunching up front...!

if you have a concept of what type of character background your character has, this can be linked to an archtype relatively quickly...

the one fixed point is you were all kids in Redmond, and managed to get out (or maybe not), so some of you may have entered UCAS military, others might have developed magical abilities and got sponsored by a corp, or maybe you have a scholarship from a charity due to your athleticism, intellectual prowess, or maybe you stayed put found the money to go to high school and started your own business. The background can then lead to a character archtype.

for those not familiar with the system streets sams and adepts and hermetic mages are easy to get into

if folks can tell me if you are creating your own before we start or want me to prep part or all of a character let me know.

charater generator character-generator.nullsheen.com/ is a good one, please remember to flick the toggle on the bottom of the page to SR2 (not SR3!) you can also check all the available books!

if you use the generator we will transfer the character to paper and then make minor mods.
