Hello all!

I just stumbled on a website called ROLZ which essentially functions as a forum for chat room based roleplaying games. Since I have not had much luck with Skype and Roll20, I thought I would give it a go. I am posting this here in case anyone else is interested. I am going to attempt to run the Ironfang Invasion AP for Pathfinder, converted to Savage Worlds (of course!!) using this medium, every Monday, between 18:00 > 21:00 GMT. All you need is a stable internet connection, no pissing around with webcams and microphones and tokens and layers. Just some good old fashioned, narrative/theater of the mind roleplaying.

Sorry Mike, I've got long-term childcare commitments on Monday nights, I will, however observe with interest. There's now a Birmingham pathfinder society meet up group who run drop in Pathfinder Society games at Geek Retreat in Birmingham, and I am quite interested in dabbling with that. I am also in a group called Dreamlyrics - www.dreamlyrics.com , which evolved from the core of the CompuServe RPG community forum, back in the way back when, which works in a similar way to ROLZ. Unfortunately they ask for a one off payment of £25 to join, but you don't have to pay anything else ever again. Good luck with the game!

NP Andy. If you're cool with the slower pace of PBP, there is a robust community on the Paizo messageboards in the Online Campaign sub-forum. Mostly Pathfinder players, no charge.
