TOPIC: UK Games Expo

Another fantastic Expo.

Good to see Viggi, Vic, Gaz, Steboucha, Eomak, Andrek, Antidog, Andy, Mal and of course Pat
Spent loads of money. (Picture enclosed). Made a bit back on the bring and buy - sold all my stuff so that was good.
Played Traveller, The One Ring, Call of Cthulhu and D&D5. All great games. Traveller one most memorable because right at the end after the party had achieved the mission objectives - all we had to do was get back home - just a JUMP1 away from where we were, and guess who rolled snake eyes for the success of the JUMP? Cue us mis-jumping straight into another ship and vapourising everybody. Ooops.

Obviously the Hilton is a bursting point now and it'll be great to have the space next year in Hall 1 of the NEC. It was great to have the Friday to game and buy though and hopefully it'll continue to be a 3-day event. It's less that a 5min walk from the Hilton so I don't think splitting the trade and some of the gaming will have a downside. After all that's what it used to be like when it was at the Lodge.

I played Cthulhu, comics code , sort of Cthulhu game , war hammer , d&d 5 and Diablo savage worlds , venue was packed and some games were hard to hear as four games or more were in some rooms (but that may be down to my age lol) , didn't get too much , food was good and nice variety. The ones I spoke to said that the business had not stopped from opening to close , and some had ran out of stock . So I believe that they would want to come again next year.
