Paizo Starfinder Rot 1 2018

This will be my first attempt to run Paizo’s new Starfinder game. As you will probably know, this is a space fantasy game, but it’s not Star Wars, Star Trek or Slipstream. It‘s completely its own thing. Anybody who has played Pathfinder or D&D V3 or V3.5 won’t have any problem with the game mechanics, however, there are some changes to the game mechanics which have the effect of making it a little smoother and less crunchy. Yes, there will be Space Goblins, there might even be Space Elves, and even weirder things, so expect a wild ride.

Since this is a completely new game, first night is likely to be committed to character generation. Anyone able to run through their character generation before this is going to smooth the process, catch me pre-game in the current rotation, or one of the christmas weeks.

I guessed that you might go for the mechanic character class, although I could see you taking the drone option, remember your robot dog in d20 modern! Thoughts on race and theme please. I have no idea what the optimum character mix is for this game at the moment, no fighter, wizard, cleric , rogue template here. There's fun in not knowing.

I'm very tempted to go the drone root, but I know Morgan was thinking of something along those lines with a battle android. My character would possibly be on the lines of the android in dark matter if that helps and Morgan was something along the lines of the droid in Rogue One (K-2SO), Can have a little discussion with everyone over the coming weeks and see where people want to go. I'm planning on fleshing out as much of my character as I possibly can and attempt to get some real flavour going.
