The events on the San Carlos Reservation are soon forgotten by the mainstream media. Only memories remain.
- Paul Stein continues his rehabilitation in his home town but still suffers from nightmares of desert landscapes and howling packs of coyote. He is recovering, gradually, having been assigned leave to recover. In the gunfight he suffered irreparable damage to his lung
- Marcus Redcloud remains in San Carlos to aid Coloradas in re-assuring the citizens that all is safe. He forges new links with the reservation and takes personal leave to do so. Coloradas is grateful, they agree to remain in touch.
- Solomon Maddox returns to duty, un-characteristically avoiding question form his fellow officers. He is quickly re-posted on an assignment to Afghanistan for a number of weeks. A 'dry' country.
- Chris Jones undergoes an extensive debrief with Special Agent Hobson. He receives a commendation on his file. He avoids all mention of the unnatural.
- Hank Schrader returns to duty and spends time in a supportive role in South Korea.
