The Underground cave
Descending a long stair you reached an immense cavern complete with its own fern and fungi eco system fed by daylight from a shaft of light through the ceiling that was reflected by an arrangement of mirrors and water from a bubbling underground stream. Corinna rushed forward when she saw one of her teenage friends being chased and cruelly teased by goatlings. The goatlings were despatched post-haste, including one by a black-feathered arrow that was fired from the shadows. Out steps another hero appointed by Kyrah to the task of thwarting the titans. Meet Z’lectra.

The Ultros
At the centre of the cavern was an ancient trunk of what must once have been an enormous tree. Ellass heard tales that one the Dragonlords, Estor Arkelander, once chopped down a huge tree—five centuries ago—to use in construction of his celebrated ship—the Ultros. Today, the name Ultros is told in tales amongst the folk of coastal communities. To them the Ultros is a ghost ship of legend.

Teenage Troubles
After rescuing another gaggle of teenagers, all drugged to the eyeballs with a hallucinogen concocted from mushrooms, you left babysitters in charge while the remainder of the party pressed on. In the kitchen area you discovered two goatling cooks busy butchering the bodies of four teenage humans (all male) ready for the oven. Further on you stumbled into a banquet hall where a feast had been laid out.

A Feast
Demetria sat at the long table with several giggling teenage girls. They were just about to tuck into bowls of fresh-cooked meat. The centrepiece of the table was a great horn trimmed with gold and silver. At one end of the table stood a giant—twelve feet tall at least, six arms and one eye. Its arms held a menagerie of weapons and shields.

Ungrateful Guests
Demetria greeted you as guests and invited you to be seated. She told Jace that to know more about why Lutheria has such a focus on him he should consult The Fates. She gifted Sirculo with an artefact that she swore belonged to his family. You thanked her for the gifts and the imparted knowledge by stealing the horn, slaying the giant and murdering Demetria herself. Time to leave.

The Horn
Those that drink from the Horn of Balmytria fall into an immediate deep sleep for several hours. Each has a vision. They are standing on a ship holding a brass device that reflects the night’s constellations, even though it is broad daylight. The rowers at their posts are skeletal undead.

The Whispering Locket
While taking a rest, Beefy’s locket whispers to him in his head. He instinctively knows this is the voice of his long-dead sorceress grandmother. She urges Beefy to exact vengeance upon Sydon, his grandfather. So she’s not bitter at all.

The Dragonrider and the Cavalry Charge
Thunder peals through the sky. Grey clouds roll. A rider on a silver dragon swoops. He wears the blue cloak of a soldier of the Order of Sydon. He warns you to abandon your quest to oppose the Titans while you still can. The dragonrider flies away. And then the ground shakes. The thunder of hooves approaches. A warband of two dozen angry centaurs charges you down. They make three passes through your ranks before their captain halts the assault and he too warns you to abandon your quest before he and his warband depart.

The Dragonshrine
Aesop thanks you for bringing back the horn. He takes it off you, then gives it straight back. ‘Take this to the keeping of Queen Vallus of Mytros. But don’t let King Acastus get hold of it. You want payment? Here, have a Potion of Black Flap each. What’s that, you want to know how you might find a dragon’s egg? Hmmn. Well. It is said the King Acastus of Mytros is attempting to breed a new generation of dragons. He might have one.’

The Grumpy Blacksmith
Volkan’s not pleased to see you. You’re cluttering up his workshop—again! And you're several days too early. He tinkers with Z’lectra’s stymphay and breathes renewed vigour into it. He takes Jace’s broken Dragonlord shield and says he’ll try t find time to have a look at it. Come back in a couple of days. Now go away. No, actually, wait: If you’re intending on going to the Mithril Mines to relight the forge he’d be interested in taking a look when you’re done. He’ll know when the task is completed. Now go away. Really.

The Dragon’s Tooth
At the tavern, you attempt to join in the drinking games of a table full of dwarves. Brontes impresses by spilling all the drinks. You want to know the whereabouts of the Mithril Forge? Can’t say—it’s a secret. Nobody has been there in centuries since their kin was run out by monsters. No we can’t say where it is, otherwise it wouldn’t be a secret would it? We are sworn not to tell. Write it down you ask? Hmm. (quick conflab in dwarvish) well, the general consensus seems to be that writing it is not breaking the promise of saying it in words. Here, let’s draw you a map.

The Sacrifice of Princess Anora
The Princess is stoic. She tries to show no fear as she is led through the crowded streets, lined with her solemn subjects. Soldiers of the Order of Sydon shackle her to the Rock of Estor and the crowd waits. A dinosaur-looking creature emerges from the river—a monster with heavy scales, jagged teeth and strange, staring eyes. The heroes beat it to death. The Princess is saved. And technically The Oath of Peace has not been breached, as you, the heroes are not personally bound by it—unlike King Pythor who had to stand helpless. Well, stand is probably an exaggeration in his drunken state. And as you’ve saved his daughter, you can bet there’s going to be lots more drink flowing at the palace tonight. Grab your party hats. It’s time for a celebration.

Next week. Due to several players being on holiday, we're going to do something different.
Our own remnants plus refugees from another table hit by holiday madness, are cordially invited to join together for a one-shot evening of either Ironsworn of Pirateborg (probably).

The half-man half-horse known as Hookrar, Hooharr, Oooarrr, Urrarr, Harkroar, Whoyarr… …
Following a four day booze fest at the palace, it was time to get back to business. The party sets out on a trip to the Mithril Mountains. Along the way you met another centaur band—this time a little friendlier. Their leader, Hukar, told you that the mountains ahead were populated by troglodytes and that two of his own tribe had been captured by them as they tried to pass through the land. Everyone thanked Hukar for the information by mispronouncing his name in a dozen different ways.

The Great Falls of Arkelon
As you ascend toward the mountains the great roar of the Arkelon Falls fills your ears as a grand river spills over the edge of a high cliff. It’s pretty spectacular. Around the great lake and river at the bottom of the falls are four huge sculptured hands reaching out of the ground. They are relics of an ancient past. They represent worship of the titan, Kentimane the Hundred Handed, who has had no influence over Thylea since he withdrew from the world more than a thousand years ago.

The slippery ledge before the waterfall curtain
Higher in the Mithril Mountains you cautiously move along a ledge leading to another waterfall; this one far less grand than the Great Falls of Arkelon. Behind the waterfall is the secret entrance to the mountain cave system and the Mithril Forge. A band of troglodytes blocks your way—but not for long.

Screams in the dark and the Dog on the Bridge
The cavern system stinks. It really stinks. And its pitch black in here. Sircculo turns Beefy’s horns into beacons of light to guide the way. There is the sound of tortured screams coming from somewhere within the tunnels to your left. Before you investigate, the screaming stops. You abandon that way and head instead toward carved corridors of grander design. Above you, a bridge spans the corridor on which is a statue of a two-headed dog. You continue along the passage for a while before doubling back and ascending a narrow ledge to the bridge. The dog has gone. But it hasn’t gone far. It strikes from the shadows, sinking the teeth of both its heads into Ellass before being despatched by an act of gratuitous mob violence. Its grey-black fur is filled with stone dust.
