Andy, I hope you don't mind me starting a discussion thread.

Anyhow, my core rule book has arrived so I've created a character.

Tredegar Maggot, eldest son of Farmer Maggot - cultivator of the finest mushrooms in the East Farthing. But a farmer's life is not what Tredegar desires. At his coming of age, Tredegar bids farewell to his proud father and tearful mother and sets out on the road to discovery and adventure.

Don't mind at all, thanks for starting it.

So we have a hobbit of the Shire.

I'm going to be starting things in Rhosgobel, with the characters awaiting a summons from Radaghast the Brown. Why and how you think he might have summoned you is up to the characters.

I like using http://azrapse.es/tor/sheet.html to create and store characters. If you want to add Tredegor please do so. Once you've created a character click on "ONLINE CHARACTER SERVER", fill in the group name as bcrps15 and add the password which I'll PM, and then "SAVE CURRENT CHARACTER".

I used the character generator and I have Araven Beren (Dúnedain). :)

Okay cool.

I'll bring some blank character sheets on Thursday as we may want to balance out some skill points amongst the party once Ive explained how journeying and other key tests work.
