That's excellent world building Mike - have a Feat for that.

And thanks to Sarge for adding Little Hamm - though it looks like some yokels are venerating a false deity. These cults never end well.

And Mike, you're right - it would be shameful for a GM to kill off a character of an absent player. But, just hypothetically speaking, would casting a character thousands of years into the past count? I mean technically speaking the character hasn't been killed - just sent to live out their natural life thousands of years ago by the time the player comes back to the game a week later. And again, purely hypothetical, would it also be bad form for the rest of the players to find it really funny?

I mean she IS a half elf so technically you could teleport them back 500 years then have them turn up next week just looking slightly greyer and very pissed off...
