TOPIC: R4 2025 (19/06/25 > 07/08/25):Looking For Game

Thought i'd put this up to give this a try as it's a concern I've had for a while. Having took December off it was pretty obvious when trying to come back in Jan it was hard to get into a game as there wasn't any games put up that weren't already full before they even get posted since people chat in person and stick to groups etc. this can make it tricky for newcomers/people coming back to get a game. I've had this myself and know there are usually people who struggle to get into a game as they don't know what's being ran sometimes till a few days before rotation starts and they are posted full (new games included not just continuation).

I personally might have a game next Rotation (a continuation game). However I know a few people are trying to find something to play and don't have a clue what games are going on.

So idea behind this, which we can continue if it seems to work is:

If you are wanting to play a game in the listed rotation (R4 2025 in this case) but either don't know what games are being ran, or aren't yet signed up (or haven't been coming to the club but plan to come back for the next rotation) then please post in this thread. People interested in joining the club also welcome.

hopefully this will let people without a game know who else is in the same boat and might be able to join up. Or let potential DM's thinking of running something know there is an audience out there. Any suggestions to improve this idea please feel free.

Game Rotations

Only one game has been posted to site for R4 (Rich's Deadlands game) and that followed the set procedure; Rich posted recruitment thread, and folk signed up by responding in that thread.

I update the Games Rotation page ASAP after someone posts a game, but I can only do that if people post their games to the Recruitment forum.

I have been more active promoting the club via Facebook, which I hope has contributed to the recent increase in interest/new members. It is a balancing act between growing the community and finding space for them in the games that are being run when they decide to turn up, as the absolute worst thing we can do is draw someone in and then turn them away.
