Chaosium are launching their first Organised Play programme for the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game. A Time to Harvest is a six-part 1930s campaign which sees players take the role of students at Miskatonic University.

The campaign will be available in monthly instalments and commences on the 16th April. This new initiative from Chaosium comes after the recent appointment of Todd Gardiner as Chaosium's Director of Organised Play and Event Organiser.

A Time to Harvest will be freely available to members of "The Cult of Chaos", Chaosium's Game Master and Organised Play Programme. To take part you need to sign up by the end of March.

Would you want me to? I'd be game to give it a go, if people would excuse a first go at being a Keeper, (and first go with 7th!)
But if you (or someone else) wanted to do it, that's cool, I don't mind, I just saw the link and thought it sounded pretty cool! :)

Campaign material comes out in March, and PDF scenario is made available on 16th April, 10 days or so before the rotation starts. It does mean no-one knows much about it in the leadup, but if 4-6 people are game, then I can put up a proposal? I think it'll be something like D&D Adventurers League. It's meant to be a 6month campaign, and the next material comes out in May, so should be sufficient to see us through a rotation.

What do you think?

I'd be interested to play, but not sure if the release format would provide you with enough material - "six monthly instalments" sounds to me like you don't get the last bit for six months. suppose it depends how many hours of material you get per "month"

Yep, I've had a longer look and it's a bit of a risk for R3.
In a way it's a bit like D&D Adventurers League. Aimed more at beginning players. Might be too tame for you hardcore lot!

Anyway, I can't do R4 because I'm away for the last 3 weeks of it. (visiting sister in Canada).
and I'm away for the start of rotation 5 (still in Canada), so earliest would be R6. So if someone fancies it before then, go ahead! :)
