If anyone has a PS4, Bloodborne has a really strong Mythos vibe.

I sucked at Dark Souls and avoided Bloodborne for ages because I didn't want to spend £30 just to get stuck on the first boss - but I've made good progress with it and the game is great. Just beat something which is undoubtedly a giant leng spider.

Mike, you didn't suck at Dark Souls.
That game is one of the most fiendishly difficult rpg games ever made. It has been described as a game written by sadists for masochists. Dying forms part of the game and online co op play is in fact the only way to defeat some of the mid level bosses. It was never written to be casual fun game. It was written to test your mental strength and patience to the edge of human limits...
