Week 1

Luke ran D&D5. Six first level heroes descended into a dwarven mine to find out what had happened to the miners. A malevolent crystal had transformed the industrious dwarves into murderous crystalline fiends! The party did not fare super well and it would probably have been a TPK if the bard had not run off, leaving his companions to their doom.

In the bard's/my defence, by the point he fled, the situation was already FUBAR. Reduced to 1HP and no spell slots left. Everyone else was already down and no idea how to damage the crystal that Evil Dave had taken control of upon the death of his character.

We all rolled die and next week's DM will be... TOM!

Week 2

Tom ran some more D&D5, but this time we were all level three. The party was hired to recover stolen goods from an abandoned fort that had recently been claimed by a gang of thieving goblins. The heroes discovered the lair of a larcenous bugbear chieftain in the basement of the fort. The party defeated the thieves and recovered the stolen provisions.

Highlights of the evening include; a very slippery wall, goblin Pictionary and animated armour that did not know when to quit.

Tom also had two brand new players join the game and introduced them to the wonders of D&D. Ben popped his goblin cherry. You always remember your first.

We all rolled die and next week’s DM will be… DAVE!

Or possibly me, if Dave doesn’t turn up.

Week 3

We committed the cardinal sin of splitting the party into two smaller groups.

Dave ran D&D for Tom, Tim and Dave's Mum. One of those people will have to report on what went down on their table because I was in Adam's D&D game with Andy and Steve

A group of heroes entered a town and were asked to investigate some spooky music! Skeletons abducted a baby then disappeared from the narrative! The heroes assaulted the mayor to recover a necklace he had stolen for reasons!

Next weeks DM will be... me! Followed by Andy.
(stop following me Andy, you creepy guy!)

Here is a fun video on preparing a one-shot!
