No, Nimin simply "volunteered" to be the bait that drew the T-Rex away from the rest of the party. We know Nimin survived, because as we sailed away from the island aboard the Ambsucade, Ettin looked back with a spy glass to see Nimin in the distance, jumping up and down and waving on the harbour's edge. Attempting to lip-read, Ettin thinks Nimin was shouting something like " Oi! Come back you b#st#rds! Don't leave me!"
